Project Overview

The Cheniere Corpus Christi Liquefaction (CCL) Project is a major LNG export facility in Texas, with ongoing expansion CCL3, adding additional liquefaction trains and infrastructure.

Job Summary

The Material Planner implements the Project Material Management Plan, coordinating with Engineering and Construction to ensure efficient material identification and supply processes. This position may transition to the jobsite for materials coordination during construction.

This role is part-time telework, requiring at least four days per week in person at the office or project site. Weekly schedules are determined in coordination with supervisors.

Major Responsibilities
  • Identify and resolve deviations to the Materials Management Plan.
  • Assist in finalizing the Material Requisition Management (MRM).
  • Understand and monitor automation and data transfer processes related to materials.
  • Participate in preparing desktop instructions for automation interfaces.
  • Ensure materials are identified and managed according to project priorities and schedule.
  • Collaborate with functional groups on fabrication and procurement strategies.
  • Identify approval requirements impacting engineering and construction deliverables.
  • Assist Engineering with critical design drawings and data from suppliers.
  • Implement component numbering and tagging as per project standards.
  • Verify that material requisitions are detailed and accurate.
  • Monitor procurement activities to meet schedule milestones.
  • Develop training programs for materials management personnel.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of procurement, fabrication, engineering, and project data systems.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 5-8 years of relevant experience, or 9-12 years of work experience.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience in subcontracting, negotiations, and awards.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
