Job summary

Snap-on is seeking a Material Picker to ensure a steady flow of materials to production and assembly lines. You will pull, stage, and deliver items, verify quantities, and collaborate with production and warehouse teams to keep inventory accurate.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least three years in manufacturing, with strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. On-site position with injury prevention and 5S compliance emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with at least 3 years in manufacturing.
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse ops, material handling or related field preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, schedules, pick lists and inventory documents.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and deliver raw materials to production lines per work orders.
• Replenish materials to prevent line stoppages and maintain flow.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, and descriptions before issuing materials.
• Transport materials using carts or material-handling equipment.
• Return unused materials and ensure accurate inventory transactions.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via records in systems or documentation.
• Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits as needed.
• Organize warehouse storage for easy access and identification.
• Follow safety procedures, 5S, and housekeeping standards.
