Job summary

Snap-On Tools in California is seeking a Material Picker to ensure uninterrupted material flow to production lines. You will pull, stage, and deliver materials per schedules, collaborating with Production, Warehouse, Inventory Control, and Purchasing to keep inventory accurate.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least three years in manufacturing, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and operate safely. OT and two Saturdays per month are common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with inventory control or material handling is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and inventory documents.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and deliver raw materials to production lines according to work orders.
• Replenish materials at designated areas to prevent line stoppages.
• Verify material quantities and part numbers before issuing materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and inventories.
• Organize warehouse areas and follow safety and 5S standards.
