Neuralink is seeking a Material Management Lead to build and guide the material operations function from dock to line, ensuring fast, predictable delivery to manufacturing. You will set SLAs, measure performance, and manage a team of shipping, IQC, and inventory specialists on-site at South San Francisco / Austin.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing operations, materials management, or production logistics.
• Metrics-driven: set KPIs, run cadences, use data for improvement.
• Player-coach leadership: manage day-to-day and hands-on as needed.
• Quality systems fluency: GMP/ISO 13485, MRB, NCR, traceability.
• Designed scalable operational processes: SOPs, SLAs, training, metrics.
• Experience deploying inventory/warehouse systems with frontline teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team of shipping & receiving technicians, IQC technicians, and inventory specialists.
• Own end-to-end inbound logistics: visibility, transport management, shipping terms, customs.
• Deliver fast dock-to-stock cycle times with barcoding and strict scan adherence.
• Establish packaging/labeling standards with suppliers for scan-ready intake.
• Develop IQC program with sampling plans, receiving inspection, and rapid dispositions.
• Partner cross-functionally on non-conformance dispositions and supplier scorecards.
• Implement one unified inventory standard across product lines with FEFO and traceability.
• Own production kitting pipeline to prevent build impact from shortages.
• Oversee outbound shipment and ensure alignment with clinical needs.
