Job summary

Lupin Pharmaceuticals is seeking a 3rd shift packaging operator in New Jersey to support high-quality packaging output. You will load and unload materials, assist with cartoning, and move finished goods with pallet jacks while keeping work areas clean and safe.

The role requires teamwork and a focus on meeting SOPs and batch records. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic reading/writing in English, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are packaged per SOPs and batch records.
• Load and unload materials during packaging operations.

• Move packaging components and finished goods, pallet movement included.
• Load cases onto pallets and transport with a pallet jack.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure quality standards.
• Perform other duties as directed by line leader or supervisor.
• Conduct visual inspection of line and materials per lead/supervisor instructions.

Job Description

• Ensure that all products are packaged according to standard operating procedures and batch records for specific products.
• Load and unload material during packaging operation as assigned.
• Help in cartoning operation for product to be cartoned; fill finished cartons into shipper cases.
• Material handling of packaging components and finished goods including unpacking receivables and packing and stacking cases along with pallet movement.
• Load cases onto pallets. Move material as necessary using a pallet jack.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Operators must adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure that the final product meets high-quality standards.
• Perform other job duties as requested by the line leader or supervisor.
• Visual inspection of the line/materials as per instructions from the Line Lead / Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Basic grammatical skills and communication skills, both written and oral, to keep others informed of progress and changes in the status of work.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to changes in work duties.
• Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, reading electronic forms and taking electronic tests.
• Mechanically inclined candidates are preferred.
• Able and willing to lift up 30 pounds as needed.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position in New Jersey is $35,360. The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Lupin is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
