Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division in Syracuse, NY seeks a Material Mover/Handler to support loading, unloading and moving materials on 1st shift. The role requires forklift operation, badge-level safety, and attention to space efficiency within the warehouse.

The successful candidate will count and sort parts, replenish battery water on trucks when needed, and assist with related duties as directed while maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Must be within 50 miles of Syracuse work location.
• Ability to count and sort parts by hand and move materials safely.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload carriers and transfer conveyors, transport material within the team as required.
• Operate a forklift or hand truck to move, stack and deliver material to destinations.
• Move machined parts, castings, assemblies, and supplies between stations and storage areas.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report malfunctions to supervision.
