Job summary

TRAX International seeks a Technician III at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, to provide engineering technician support in ballistics, wheeled and tracked vehicles, and materials, performing detailed analysis and evaluation for a range of engineering problems. The role requires developing test methods, collecting data, and presenting conclusions with precision.

You will operate measurement instruments and contribute to vulnerability/survivability test programs while ensuring safety and compliance

Qualifications

• 5 years of weapons firing or equivalent test/evaluation experience or suitable education mix.
• Basic computer skills required for data handling and reporting.
• FARO CAM2, FARO ScanArm, GeoMagic, and PolyWorks training/experience.
• Licenses: forklift operation and Overhead Bridge Crane Operator.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute tests; evaluate materials, vehicles, and weapons for design adequacy.
• Perform dimensional inspection and measurements with precision equipment.
• Document procedures, interpret data, and prepare analytical reports.
• Support Vulnerability/ Survivability testing programs and data analysis.
