Job summary

OBE is seeking a Loader/Unloader I to move materials including glass and metal and prepare delivery orders under the supervision of the Production Supervisor. This role focuses on safety, accuracy, and reliability while supporting the Shipping Department.

The position offers growth potential within a production environment and requires basic reading and measurement skills, with the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Candidates should be prepared for manual labor on concrete floors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand 8–10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
• Work performed inside a production environment.

Responsibilities

• On/off-loading of the product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates.
• Preparing orders for delivery (organizing, securing glass for transport).
• Perform work as assigned by Supervisor.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages; ensure complete orders are loaded to the customer and properly scanned.
• Read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.
