Job summary

Job Details: Level: Experienced, Job Location: UDM - Lapeer, MI 48446, Position Type: Full Time, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Warehouse, 3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking a material handler/driver for its Lapeer location for 1st shift.

Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to act as a material handler. To move materials from trucks into the warehouse, organize and deliver raw materials, and to pack parts for shipping. Candidate will also be expected to act as a back-up driver as needed.

Material Handler Duties:

• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Checking materials into warehouse.
• Operating a HILO to transport material for various reasons
• All paperwork incoming and outgoing is signed correctly
• Packing parts for shipment.
• Assist in the performance of various shipping departments duties as needed
• This position frequently requires walking of up to ½ mile at a time and stairs
• The ability to lift up to 65 pounds, to a height of 3-4 feet
• Employee must be able to Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, Stand, Crawl, Walk, and not limited to Carry, Push, and Pull parts, with the proper training and knowledge of knowing the additional resources that are available in handling such parts
• Remain in a Stationary Position
• Use hands/fingers to handle or feel; reach

Driver Duties:

• Driving parts or materials to various locations.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving habits at all times
• Operate multiple size trucks; all company owned
• Chauffeur or CDL may be required
• Follow required PPE, and all Company and Safety policies
• Other duties as assigned
