3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking a material handler/driver for its Lapeer location for 1st shift.Job Purpose: The primary purpose of this position is to act as a material handler. To move materials from trucks into the warehouse, organize and deliver raw materials, and to pack parts for shipping. Candidate will also be expected to act as a back-up driver as needed.Material Handler Duties:Loading and unloading of trucks.Checking materials into warehouse.Operating a HILO to transport material for various reasonsAll paperwork incoming and outgoing is signed correctlyPacking parts for shipment.Assist in the performance of various shipping departments duties as neededThis position frequently requires walking of up to ½ mile at a time and stairsThe ability to lift up to 65 pounds, to a height of 3-4 feetEmployee must be able to Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, Stand, Crawl, Walk, and not limited to Carry, Push, and Pull parts, with the proper training and knowledge of knowing the additional resources that are available in handling such partsRemain in a Stationary PositionUse hands/fingers to handle or feel; reachDriver Duties:Driving parts or materials to various locations.Maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving habits at all timesOperate multiple size trucks; all company ownedChauffeur or CDL may be requiredFollow required PPE, and all Company and Safety policiesOther duties as assignedEducation/Special Knowledge:High School Diploma or GED is required.Experience:3 – years work experience requiredExcellent organizational & time management skillsSelf-Motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervisionWorks well in a team environment
