Steele Solutions Inc. is seeking a Material Handling Tech L1 for the 3rd shift in Waupaca, WI. Under supervision, you will operate a forklift to move material, load/unload, and assist with shop floor material flow while meeting customer requirements.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using an overhead crane, maintaining safety and PPE, and collaborating with teammates. High school diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and blueprints.

Responsabilités

Summary

Under direction of the Receiving & Shipping Supervisor, the Material Handling Tech is responsible for operating a forklift taking material then loading, unloading, and moving it to a designated area on the shop floor meeting customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Operating a multi-directional forklift moving material from one destination to another
• Loads and unloads material onto or form pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
• Ability to use an overhead crane
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Work closely with team members and communicates in an efficient way
• Being able to safely move material to specific destinations in the shop
• Comply with safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Check work area for hazards
• Leave work area in a clean/safe state when shift is complete

Education and/or Experience
