Job summary

HyPro Incorporated in Platteville, WI is seeking a 3rd Shift Material Handler to operate forklifts, load and move materials within the plant and yard, and support production during nightly hours. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must pass in-house forklift driving test; prior forklift experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklift trucks (sit down or stand-up) as directed.
• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks and lifting devices under, over or around loads and transports them to designated areas.
• Loads or unloads materials into semi-truck trailers and may secure loads for transit.
• Stacks and bundles materials, and records weights and counts on production sheets.
• Attaches labels to materials and inventories materials on the work floor.
• Ensures safety procedures are followed and PPE is used as required.
