As the Material Handler Team Lead, this person will lead and develop a team of Material Handlers supporting factory operations within the San Diego EUV Factory. This team executes material handling, Clean Street, Tool Center, and other approved logistics and manufacturing support activities that enable safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production. This position reports to the Factory Logistics Manager.


Role and Responsibilities


  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Material Handlers supporting factory operations.

  • Drive safety, quality, and operational excellence within the assigned work area.

  • Ensure timely execution of material handling, Clean Street, Tool Center, and approved manufacturing support activities.

  • Monitor operational performance, identify trends, and drive actions to achieve departmental KPIs.

  • Secure labor capacity and allocate resources to support daily production and business requirements.

  • Provide coaching, training, and performance management to build team capability and effectiveness.

  • Ensure employees are trained, qualified, and compliant with applicable procedures and work instructions.

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and schedule adherence.

  • Create, update, and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures to support consistent execution.

  • Partner with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve operational performance.

  • Communicate operational status, risks, priorities, and performance metrics to management.

  • Supervise the work and daily activities of a team of 6 or more employees.

  • Escalate operational issues as needed and implement effective countermeasures to minimize business impact.

  • Actively support day-to-day operations as required to meet safety, quality, and schedule commitments.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience


  • High school diploma, GED; or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; associate degree, vocational training, military experience, or related experience in logistics, warehouse operations, manufacturing, inventory management, cleanroom operations, material handling, or a similar operational environment preferred.

  • 5 or more years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, material handling, supply chain, or similar operations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience through direct supervision, team coordination, training, mentoring, or project leadership.

  • Experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Experience driving operational performance, workforce planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • SAP/MRP experience preferred.
