Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline, preferably Mechanical or Industrial, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of material handling related experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Understanding of material handling business.

Responsibilities

• Designs/enhances conveyor systems and automated material handling systems.
• Reviews product designs for compliance and specifications.
• Coordinates technical development activities.
• Creates drawings using AutoCAD.
• Obtains quotes from vendors.
• Monitors project schedule and material costs.
• Travels up to 20% to assess systems and measurements.
• Participates in continuous improvement projects.
