Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support goods receipt, storage, and distribution. The role involves inspecting incoming goods, recording data, and ensuring accurate packaging and dispatch of deliveries.

The candidate will operate forklifts and other equipment, maintain stock levels, and collaborate with teams to meet delivery schedules. A High School Diploma is required, and the position is on-site with benefits and 2nd shift hours.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Relevant warehousing or logistics experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Accepts incoming goods and compares with shipping documents (material number, description, quantity).
  • Checks incoming goods for visible damage and documents it as required.
  • Maintains proper use of transport equipment (forklift, hand-guided trucks).
  • Captures data in data processing systems.
  • Arranges acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in storage areas and records accordingly.
  • Organizes regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
  • Assembles deliveries from storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (quantity, article number).
  • Completes packaging of deliveries following shipping instructions, packaging types and other instructions.
  • Adds shipping documents to outgoing goods.
  • Performs transports inside and, if applicable, outside premises with appropriate transportation means.

Completes operational approved logistics processing on schedule (Goods Receipt / Warehouse / Transport / Dispatch).

  • Accepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity).
  • Checks incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required.
  • Takes care for correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.).
  • Captures relevant data in data processing systems.
  • Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems.
  • Organizes a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
  • Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
  • Completes packaging of deliveries having regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework.
  • Adds the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods.
  • Completes transports inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation.

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is

$37,020 - $50,897

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
