Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Lilburn, GA is seeking an entry-level laboratory support associate for the manufacturing group producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. The role involves general lab support to maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficient operations, plus stocking, cleaning, and equipment/support duties.

The successful candidate will have 0–2 years of lab experience, a B.S./B.A./A.S. in a relevant field, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position in Manufacturing producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays.
• Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered; GMP/ISO knowledge preferred.
• Local candidates are preferred; strong work ethic and professional demeanor expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform general laboratory support to maintain cleanliness, operation, and safety.
• Support production operations with routine stocking and cleaning of manufacturing areas.
• Assist with low complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support (maintenance/cleaning).
• Glassware washing and material inventory monitoring support.
• Collaborate with laboratory biochemists to order buffers to meet weekly schedule.
• Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed and participate in 5S audits.

Specific Requirements

This is an entry level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays. Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered. Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred. Local candidates are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities

Peform general laboratory support functions to maintain laboratory cleanliness, operation, and safety. Including:

• Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, other lab support duties


• Low complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance and/or cleaning)


• Glassware washing


• Material inventory monitoring support


• Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedule


• Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed


• 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations

B.S./B.A./A.S. in relevant field or relevant work experience prefferred.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in time management, possess well developed interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, and exhibit attention to detail.

The base pay range for this position is

$53,860 - $74,052

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
