Responsibilities

1. The Material Handling Laborer is assigned to the Storage Section of the Ammunition Supply Point (ASP).
2. Under the guidance of a Warehouse Specialist Lead, perform tasks such as manually loading and unloading ammunition from trucks or other transporting devices, stacking, unpacking, or placing items in proper storage locations.
3. Transport goods using hand trucks, carts, dollies, or wheelbarrows.
4. Assist with inventory, issuing, customer turn-in, receiving ammunition, bunker maintenance (inside and outside), and vegetation control.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
6. This position involves working both indoors and outdoors, with periodic overtime and exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.

Qualifications

1. Knowledge of Army logistical functions.
2. High School Diploma or GED.
3. Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
4. Ability to receive a favorable Tier 1 Investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC.
5. Physical capability to lift 60 pounds, stand, sit, reach, walk for extended periods, and perform pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching tasks.

Desired Qualifications

1. Ammo-45 Introduction to Ammunition.
2. Military Occupational Specialties 55B/89B.
3. Valid driver’s license.

Pay & Benefits
