MANTECH seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Material Handling Equipment Operators to join our team in Oahu Hawaii, Guam, Japan, Australia, Korea and the Philippines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Operates and maintains various types of industrial trucks and material-moving vehicles to support distribution requirements.
- Drafts technical documentation for equipment performance and maintains logs of daily material movements.
- Follow established safety protocols to prevent injury or damage to mission-critical property.
- Supports theater distribution by receiving, sorting, and issuing commodities from intra-theater points to the tactical point of need.
- Assist in the delivery of materials for facility sustainment, including mechanical and electrical system components.
- Execute demand analysis support by providing accurate data on inventory levels and storage capacity.
- Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
Supervisor Level
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and 10+ years of position-relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of education).
- Experience in formal document approval and quality gate oversight for logistics and equipment operations
Midlevel
- High school diploma and 3+ years of position-relevant experience (additional education may be substituted in lieu of experience).
- Valid Class B CDL.
- OSHA 1910.178 Powered Industrial Truck Certification.
- Must be proficient in following standard operating procedures and drafting basic Material Movement Reports.
Junior Level
- High school diploma and 0+ years of position-relevant experience.
- Must demonstrate the ability to follow instructions for equipment operation and maintain organized storage records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification or a related field.
- Extensive experience with Navy Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) or U.S.
- Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) logistics protocols.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD safety requirements for MHE.
Clearance Required:
- Must hold an active Public Trust Clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
