In this role, you will approve technical inventory schedules, conduct advanced physical audits, and serve as a Technical Lead for asset lifecycle inspections to enhance material readiness and property accountability across forward deployed and austere environments.
Approve technical inventory schedules and conduct advanced physical audits of facility and field assets.
Validate asset condition codes and authorize modifications to storage and tracking workflows to enhance material readiness.
Serve as a Technical Lead for asset lifecycle inspections and provide expert recommendations for equipment modernization and property accountability improvements.
Authorize the technical management of asset tracking systems at forward-deployed sites in remote maritime environments.
Validate theaterwide property records to identify and resolve discrepancies in mission-essential equipment accounts.
Oversee the development of asset Protection Plans to ensure the security and accountability of specialized gear in austere locations.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
High School Diploma or GED.
10+ years of position-relevant experience in property or inventory management.
Demonstrated experience in technical quality oversight and formal asset documentation.
Proven track record managing property records and resolving equipment account discrepancies.
Demonstrated experience leading technical inventory teams or serving as a technical lead.
Experience with USPACOM property management.
In-depth knowledge of DoD 4000.25-M and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) standards.
Valid Forklift or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office and warehouse facilities to inspect equipment and access property records.
Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and government stakeholders, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Must be able to lift or handle material equipment up to 50 lbs as necessary during physical audits.
