Job summary

Bethyl Laboratories, Inc in Louisiana seeks a maintenance technician to support material handling and loading operations. You will communicate with leadership daily, create and maintain procedures, and track data using VBA to monitor incidents and loading efficiency.

You will review logs, approve maintenance work orders, plan weekly maintenance, and coordinate with contractors and Shintech maintenance personnel. Safety and KPI compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or related military experience).
• Ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
• Experience in Petrochemical Loading Operations.
• Broad understanding of DOT, FRA, TSA, and PHMSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Walk out maintenance or project work with contractors and operations.
• Follow-up on maintenance activities throughout the day.
• Meet with Shintech Maintenance Technician daily for planning of work.
• Review monthly inspection sheets for deficiencies and create a repair plan.
• Maintain maintenance KPI compliance.
• Maintain Clamp Log and MOC log.
• Performs other duties as assigned
