Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a US - Material Handling 1 to join their team in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material supply needs in the Supply Chain/Distribution function.

The position offers $21-$24 per hour, with training shifts 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Monday–Friday (for training, Fri-Sun 6:00 AM–6:00 PM). Requires high school or equivalent; 0–2 years shipping/receiving experience; basic computer skills; forklift may be required; strong

Qualifications

High School education or equivalent required.
0-2 years experience in shipping and receiving preferred.
Basic computer skills in receiving-related software.
Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Receive and store goods, inspecting items against required documentation and temperature requirements.
Pick, pack, and ship products with accurate documentation (FIFO, lot numbers, temps, addresses, methods).
Deliver items to manufacturing within 24 hours of receipt or notify requestors.
Maintain inventory accuracy via daily cycle counts and physical inventories.
Coordinate daily with multiple departments to support needs.
