Job Description:

The Alternate Material Handler positions are responsible for filling in for vacations, floating holidays, sick days, and other vacancies across all Material Handling positions (Cheeserunner, Receiving, Autopal, Label Room). The role requires cross-training on all these positions and potentially on Chunk and Shred; i.e., knockdown, to assist with vacancies as needed.

Partners will work with leaders to ensure food safety and partner safety, understand and execute standard operating procedures, perform all PCP and CCP checks, and follow reaction plans for food safety, quality, and customer outages. Responsibilities include identifying customer requirements, operating equipment properly, recording data accurately, and performing sanitation and preventative maintenance tasks.
