Job description

STS Technical Services is hiring Material Handlers in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Position Overview:

The Material Handling B position works in the warehouse or plant and involves picking, packing, shipping, receiving, tracking, and moving raw materials, service parts, and finished goods. Assistance may be needed for some activities listed below.

What You Will Do:

• Receive work assignments from Supervisor or Lead person.
• Move materials, parts, and products using forklift, reach trucks, order pickers, and/or carts with assistance as needed.
• Pick and pack service parts with assistance and training as needed.
• Accurately track parts, products, and materials according to procedures using system tools, with assistance as needed.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain workplace organization standards.
• Perform cycle counting for parts and machines with assistance as needed.
• Assist other work areas or departments as needed.
• Work effectively in a team setting, promoting safety, quality, and productivity.

Essential Functions:

• Pick parts for orders within the plant using various replenishment methods.
• Label, store, and process all incoming parts for stock into the correct storage location per SAP.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pack mule carts as required.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• English literacy.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform related tasks.
• Basic instruction reading skills.
• Proficiency with gauges and measuring instruments.
• Physical ability to perform the job.
