Job summary

Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota is seeking a Material Handler to help process products and meet daily production standards. The role supports store operations, customer service, and program development for participants, while upholding the organization’s mission.

Typical schedule is 35–40 hours per week with open availability including days, nights, and weekends. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a strong commitment to serving diverse communities.

A day in the life

In a typical day, a Material Handler can expect to…

• Store Operations: Follows policies and procedures and executes directives in a timely manner. Follows policies and procedures and executes directives in a timely manner.
• Customer Service: Creates a high level of customer service throughout the store ensuring all customers experience a welcoming atmosphere.
• Services and Programs: Provide a work environment to train and develop participants in achieving their goals.
• Safety: Help contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for employees and customers.

Job Pay & Perks

• Pay Range: $14.20 - $19.52/hr
• Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota prioritizes work-life balance. Weekend/holiday shifts are limited, and we offer competitive pay, flexible hours, a variety of benefit options and an employee discount.
• Work‑life balance: No overnights or late closing shifts, and limited holiday hours (closed Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years' Day)
• GESMN retail locations are closed New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

  1. Open schedule availability including a combination of days, nights, and weekends, totaling at least 35 hours per week; and

Prior Experience & Education

• 0‑3 years of relevant experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
