Zusammenfassung

Unither is seeking a Material Handler for weekend days, 11am-11pm, at our Rochester, NY site. You will work with Distribution, Production, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure organized, audit-ready material management.

Responsibilities include receiving, moving, staging, verifying documentation, storing materials, issuing to production, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the area. Experience in regulated environments and forklift certification are preferred.

Your role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, SCHEDULE: Weekend Days 11am-11pm.

JOB SUMMARY: Material Handlers work closely with Distribution, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to maintain organized, compliant, and audit-ready material management system.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive, move, and stage materials in accordance with approved procedures and work instructions.
• Verify materials against documentation (labels, packing slips, work orders).
• Store materials in designated locations following FIFO/FEFO and material status controls.
• Issue materials to production using approved transactions and documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in assigned areas.
• Operate manual material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks); forklift operation as trained.
• Comply with cGMP, safety, security, and site policies

Your profile

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems.
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures, and cGMP requirements.

Preferred

• Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience in a regulated environment.
• Forklift or powered industrial truck certification.
• Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
• Knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements.
• Experience handling temperature-sensitive or hazardous materials

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT:

• Work is performed in warehouse and manufacturing environments with exposure to noise, moving equipment, and industrial conditions.
• Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Operation of material handling equipment is required.
• Use of PPE and compliance with cGMP gowning requirements required.
• Flexible schedule and overtime may be required based on operational needs.

Compensation Range

19.00 - 23.00 USD

• The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
