Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is hiring a Material Handler for the Weekend Shift. Hours are Friday – Sunday, 5:30 am – 6:00 pm. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40.

The Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials to support the production line. Duties include stocking, packaging for shipping, cycle counts, and cross-training in receiving.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 1-2 years of direct experience in material handling duties.
• Familiarity with ERP, inventory systems, and basic office software.

Responsibilities

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is hiring a Material Handler on Weekend Shift. Hours are Friday - Sunday, 5:30 am – 6:00 pm. Work 36 hours get paid for 40.

JOB SUMMARY

The Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in relation to managing materials for the production line.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Stock and distribute products and materials in inventory warehouses and manufacturing lines
• Package and prepare products and merchandise for the shipping clerk.
• Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders)
• Perform daily cycle counts
• Periodically rotate in RECEIVING for cross training
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the duties and responsibilitiesof the position)

Technical Skills:

• Data base user interface and query software

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• As a US Department of Defense Contractor, this position may involve access to items subject to U.S. export-control laws. Employment is contingent upon the employee’s authorization to access such items under applicable law. Salary range is $20.12 - $27.22 per hour, dependent on experience. Mid-point is $23.67. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40.
