Job summary

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is hiring a Material Handler for the Weekend Shift. Hours are Friday through Sunday, 5:30 am to 6:00 pm. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40.

The role moves freight and materials for the production line, requires basic HS diploma and 1–2 years in related duties, and may include driving a non-CDL box truck for deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 1–2 years of direct related experience.
• Familiarity with warehouse duties and inventory practices.

Responsibilities

Astronics AES in Redmond, WA is hiring a Material Handler on Weekend Shift. Hours are Friday - Sunday, 5:30 am - 6:00 pm. Work 36 hours get paid for 40.

Job Summary

The Material Handler will manually move freight, stock, or other materials or perform other general labor in relation to managing materials for the production line.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Stock and distribute products and materials in inventory warehouses and manufacturing lines
• Package and prepare products and merchandise for the shipping clerk.
• Prepare and maintain records of items shipped (i.e. purchase orders, manual shippers, and work orders)
• Perform daily cycle counts
• Periodically rotate in RECEIVING for cross training
• May drive a non-CDL box truck for deliveries
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrates familiarity of job duties (typically 1-2 years of direct experience in the duties and responsibilities of the position)

Salary

Salary is $18.46 - $24.97 per hour, dependant on experience. Mid-point is $21.72. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40.
