Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. seeks a Material Control Coordinator C to efficiently receive, inspect, store, and distribute materials according to standards and requirements. The role involves operating a forklift and scissor lift, following safety procedures, and maintaining accurate material records in a fast-paced warehouse.

The position requires 1 year of related experience, willingness to work a 12-hour rotating schedule (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) with every other weekend, and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience required.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience operating a scissor lift preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights and operating elevated equipment.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and transport materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Willingness to accommodate overtime and non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Complies with and enforces all safety regulations and programs of the plant and department.
• Pass all required training to safely operate forklift and load hogs.
• Understand and adhere to plant policies and procedures.
• Accurately count and record all materials - finished goods, raw materials, roll stock and scrap.
• Enter information via handheld scanners.
• Process work orders, document units handled, interpret instructions, and transmit data for invoicing.
• Stage finished product in proper locations within the warehouse.
• Move freight and materials to/from storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Use Warehouse Location Management System and scanners to perform maintenance move operations.

TITLE: Material Control Coordinator C

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Efficiently receive, inspect, store, and distribute materials in accordance with organizational standards and operational requirements.

• Work Schedule: This position follows a 12-hour rotating schedule (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.), consisting of alternating 2-2-3 workweeks. Employees work every other weekend. Starting Pay $17.50 an hour.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Ability to work in an environment that is cold in wintertime, hot, or humid in the summer months.

MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a sit-down and/or stand-up forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a scissor lift safely and in accordance with company safety procedures.
• Comfortable working at heights and able to perform tasks while operating elevated equipment.
• Ability to complete required equipment inspections and safely operate powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts.
• Basic understanding of warehouse equipment safety and OSHA guidelines.
• Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse inventory systems (preferred).

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Steel Toed Shoes, Ear Plugs, and Safety Glasses)
• Ability to quickly move your hand, your hands together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, lift, manipulate or assemble objects. (frequently)
• Ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 lbs. (frequently)
• Ability to stand and change positions frequently over an eight-hour period.
