Ryder is hiring a Sit Down Forklift Operator in Wilmington, Illinois. This role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about. Base pay starts at $21.00 per hour with a $4.00 per hour shift differential for D shift, and a 3% increase after 1 year.

Employees operate electric sit-down forklifts and RF scanners in clean, organized facilities handling food products. Schedule includes D shift with specific hours, and weekly payroll plus paid training and benefits start

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsabilidades

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, and staging for loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Up to $25.00 per hour (including shift differentials)

• Base pay: $21.00 per hour


• 3% increase after 1 year


• Additional Pay:


• Shift Differentials: $4.00 per hour when working D shift


• Schedule: D: Thursday-Saturday 5:00 pm - 4:30 am, Wednesday 11:00 pm - 4:45 am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred


• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified


• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting


• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract


• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks


• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)


• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production


• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract


• Performs other duties as assigned.
