Ryder is seeking a Sit Down Forklift Operator in Wilmington, Illinois, offering weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. Base pay is $21.00/hr with $4 shift differential for D shift, and a 3% raise after 1 year, up to $25/hr including differentials.

Roles involve operating electric sit-down forklifts, RF scanners, and reach trucks in a food products warehouse. Schedule: D shift Thursday-Saturday 5:00 pm–4:30 am, plus a 11:00 pm–4:45 am shift.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Operate sit-down forklift and perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
• Maintain accuracy in picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading.
• Provide support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and contract performance measurement requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Description

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

Up to $25.00 per hour (including shift differentials)

Base pay: $21.00 per hour

3% increase after 1 year

Additional Pay:

• Shift Differentials: $4.00 per hour when working D shift

Schedule:

• D: Thursday-Saturday 5:00 pm - 4:30 am, Wednesday 11:00 pm - 4:45 am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
