Openwork is hiring Material Handlers and Equipment Operators to support a fast-paced distribution operation in Olive Branch, MS. These temp-to-hire roles offer weekly pay, safety-focused work, and opportunities for career advancement.

Responsibilities include receiving/unloading, order picking, packing, moving materials with pallet jacks or forklifts, and maintaining accurate inventory while following OSHA guidelines. Training provided and shift options across mornings, afternoons, and weekends.

Competenze

• Experience in warehouse or distribution settings is preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Team-oriented with safety focus.

Mansioni

• Receive and unload inbound shipments, verify materials against packing lists, inspect for damage.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders with high accuracy; use RF scanners and warehouse systems.
• Move products with pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified); stage materials for storage or outbound shipping.
• Assist with cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy; report discrepancies or quality issues.
• Follow OSHA and facility safety guidelines; maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Operate forklifts or related equipment; conduct pre-shift inspections; support loading/unloading trailers.

Openwork is currently hiring Material Handlers and Equipment Operators to support a leading distribution operation in Olive Branch, MS. Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Unloading

• Safely unload inbound shipments and verify materials against packing lists
• Inspect products for damage and ensure accurate documentation

Order Picking & Packing

• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a high level of accuracy
• Utilize RF scanners and warehouse systems to track inventory

Material Movement

• Move product throughout the facility using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)
• Stage materials in designated areas for storage or outbound shipping

Inventory Control

• Assist with cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Report discrepancies or quality issues

Safety & Housekeeping

• Follow all OSHA and facility safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace

Equipment Operator Responsibilities (if applicable)

• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment
• Load/unload trailers and transport materials safely
• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: Morning to afternoon
• 2nd Shift: Afternoon to late evening (shift differential available)
• Weekend Shifts: Premium schedules may offer higher pay

Warehouse / General Labor (Pick/Pack, Fulfillment)

• 1st Shift: $14.00 - $16.00/hr
• 2nd Shift: $15.00 - $17.00/hr
• Weekend Shifts: $16.00 - $18.00/hr
• Advanced picking roles: Up to $18.00 - $21.00/hr based on experience

Forklift / Equipment Operators

• Entry-Level Operators: $16.00 - $18.00/hr
• Experienced Operators: $18.00 - $21.00/hr
• Additional shift differentials may apply

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred, but not required
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
