Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Forklift Order Picker in Olive Branch, MS to operate Order Picker and Reach Truck equipment on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM–11:00 PM). You will count, verify, and organize inventory, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate shipping and receiving.

Candidates should have forklift certification and be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with RF scanning experience and a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Forklift certification or forklift license required.
• Experience operating an Order Picker and Reach Truck required.
• Experience with cycle counting, inventory control, shipping and receiving, or warehouse auditing preferred.
• Ability to use RF scanners and inventory management systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate Order Pickers and Reach Trucks safely and efficiently.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits throughout the warehouse.
• Verify part numbers, product quantities, and storage locations using RF scanners and count sheets.
• Store, retrieve, move, and organize inventory using material handling equipment.
• Accurately review documentation to verify product information.
• Count inventory in both low-bay and high-bay warehouse locations.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns immediately.
• Meet or exceed productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.
• Support warehouse operations while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work overtime as needed to support business demands.

Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour

• Experience with cycle counting, inventory control, shipping and receiving, or warehouse auditing preferred.


• Ability to use RF scanners and inventory management systems.


• Experience storing, retrieving, and counting inventory using material handling equipment.


• Basic math skills and the ability to read and interpret warehouse documentation.


• Comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet.


• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift.


• Frequent use of hands and arms for handling products and operating equipment.


• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly.


• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.


• Ability to work at elevated heights while operating warehouse equipment.
  
• Strong vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and color recognition.


• Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment in a warehouse environment.
