Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring Temporary Full Time Material Handlers in Hazelwood, Missouri.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working second shift
• Schedules: Second Shift 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM, 4 x 10 hour days between Monday-Friday. Schedule will include working Monday and have off one day Tues-Fri and Sat/Sun.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse environment
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Follow performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Handle warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Support automated packing system maintenance during core shift hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
