RxSight is an ophthalmic medical technology corporation headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California that has commercialized the world’s first and only adjustable intraocular lens (IOL) that is customized after cataract surgery. Overview

This position is primarily responsible for inventory control and logistics. This position is responsible for daily activity of handling, and expediting material into manufacturing, warehouse duties which include inventory control, shipping and receiving duties.

  • Performs work order transactions such as picking, kitting, and delivery kit to production floor.
  • Performs daily receiving, shipping, inventory control, kitting and pulling of materials for work orders, expedites material into manufacturing in an expeditious manner.
  • Expedites materials and items through receiving, incoming quality inspections, to the manufacturing floor, storage areas or requestors of material.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or request for materials, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
  • Performs physical inventories.
  • Ships and prepares parcels for customer orders both domestic and internationally complying with export regulations and company shipping policies.
  • Moves heavy items with forklift.
  • Performs receiving activities for all incoming materials to support business operations accurately and timely.
  • Responsible for receiving, shipping, inventory control, proper storage and movement of material for the company’s warehouses.
  • Ensures compliance to procedures and updates work instructions as required.
  • Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
  • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product codes.
  • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
  • Performs cycle counts and prepares results reports. Performs root cause and corrective action analysis to ensure inventory integrity for all material.
  • Arranges stock parts in specific sequence for assembly.
  • Utilizes QAD to enter records, ensures transactions are performed correctly.
  • Operates forklifts as required.
  • Knowledge of the safety and legal procedures for handling and receiving goods.
  • Provides support to cross functional teams to ensure accurate inventory and distribution management and to comply with procedures.

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Direct work experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, and domestic/international shipping.
  • Forklift certified.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, And TRAINING

  • High School Diploma and a minimum of +3 years of directly applicable industry experience.
  • Training to be completed per the training plan for this position as maintained in the document control system
  • The training requirements on TRN-10007 Insider Trading Policy, TRN-10008 Global Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and TRN-10009 Code of Business Conducts and Ethics must be diligently completed within 30 days from the hiring date and on an annual basis

Computer Skills

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be hands-on Inventory and Manufacturing in QAD and Microsoft Office Software applications.
