Job description

Base Pay: $21.00 per hour

Manufacture Material Handler Pay DOE: $21.00 - $23.00

The Fabrication Assistant is responsible for assisting the Fabrication team in handling prep, sorting, and organizing material, assisting in light fabrication work, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Operation of a forklift will be required, so experience with a forklift is necessary.

Excellent communication skills with all levels of external and internal customers, including warehouse workers, office personnel, and Senior Management.

Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

Prior warehouse material handling experience is a plus.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to drive and/or operate heavy equipment.
• Ability to operate a hand truck and pallet jack.
• Ability to operate a forklift; certification will be required after hire.
• Must be able to navigate the warehouse and reach items both high and low.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs.
• Read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, or other related documents.
