Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Basic understanding of handling electronic devices safely.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform light cleaning and dust removal on IT devices and hardware using approved materials.
• Wipe down and sanitize surfaces, keyboards, and screens on laptops, notebooks, tablets, and other devices.
• Ensure devices are free of dust, smudges, and debris before moving to the next stage.
• Handle equipment with care to prevent damage during cleaning.
• Identify and report cosmetic issues requiring attention or repair.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following safety guidelines.
• Work efficiently to meet daily production targets while maintaining quality.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams for a seamless workflow.

Position overview:

PlanITROI is seeking a Computer Hardware Light Cleaner for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a 90-day conversion period. The Computer Hardware Light Cleaner is responsible for performing light cleaning and cosmetic detailing of IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, monitors, and other electronic devices. This role ensures that devices meet company quality standards before they are processed for resale, refurbishment, or redistribution. • Perform light cleaning and dust removal on IT devices and hardware, using approved cleaning materials and techniques.

The expected salary range for this position is $13.00 per hour.
