Job summary

Magna International, Cosma Group, is seeking a Materials Handler/Shipping Coordinator in Liberty, Missouri. The role focuses on supporting material flow, packing, shipping, and line deliveries with emphasis on safety and process improvements.

You will train operators, manage part deliveries, perform 5S audits, and work collaboratively to minimize downtime while following Magna’s principles and policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a forklift license.
• Ability to drive tuggers and operate barcode labeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training operators on material handling equipment and responsibilities.
• Deliver parts to the line and report disruptions to the Material Handling Area Leader.
• Lead cycle counts and 5S/safety checks in the work area.
• Protect uptime by ensuring smooth line flow and communicating issues to leadership.
• Fill in for operators when needed and act as a trainer/leader to others.
