Bigelow Tea in Boise, Idaho is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production and warehouse operations by moving, storing, and tracking materials and finished goods. This role is essential to keep production running smoothly while upholding quality standards.

Responsibilities include safely transporting materials, staging for production, receiving and documenting inventory, picking and shipping orders, operating forklifts and RF scanners, performing cycle counts, and maintaining GMP

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling preferred.
  • Forklift experience is a plus, but training is provided for qualified candidates.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Safely transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Stage materials to support production schedules and keep work areas stocked for upcoming shifts.
  • Receive, store, and document incoming materials and inventory transactions.
  • Pull, load, and ship customer orders and intercompany transfers.
  • Operate forklifts, RF scanners, and computer-based inventory systems.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy and reconciliation.
  • Complete required documentation, including receiving reports, forklift inspections, shipping logs, and inventory records.
  • Return unused materials from production and ensure finished goods are accurately ticketed and entered into inventory.
  • Build product displays and support warehouse and production operations as needed.
  • Cross-train to support other warehouse and facility functions.
  • Follow GMPs, Food Safety & Quality requirements, and company safety policies.
