Job summary

Bigelow Tea is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support production and warehouse operations in Boise, ID. You will move materials, track inventory, and help ensure on-time production.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1 year warehousing experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Forklift training provided; must be safety-minded and detail-oriented.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • One year of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or material handling preferred.
  • Forklift experience is a plus; training provided for qualified candidates.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Stage materials to support production schedules and keep work areas stocked.
  • Receive, store, and document incoming materials and inventory transactions.
  • Pull, load, and ship customer orders and intercompany transfers.
  • Operate forklifts, RF scanners, and inventory systems.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
  • Complete receiving reports, forklift inspections, shipping logs, and inventory records.
  • Return unused materials and ensure finished goods are accurately ticketed.
  • Cross-train to support other warehouse/functions.
  • Follow GMPs, Food Safety & Quality requirements and safety policies.

We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused Material Handler to support our production and warehouse operations by ensuring materials and finished products are moved, stored, and tracked accurately. This role is essential to keeping production running efficiently while maintaining the high-quality standards our customers expect.

What You'll Do
  • Safely transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
  • Stage materials to support production schedules and keep work areas stocked for upcoming shifts.
  • Receive, store, and accurately document incoming materials and inventory transactions.
  • Pull, load, and ship customer orders and intercompany transfers.
  • Operate forklifts, RF scanners, and computer-based inventory systems.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy and reconciliation.
  • Complete required documentation, including receiving reports, forklift inspections, shipping logs, and inventory records.
  • Return unused materials from production and ensure finished goods are accurately ticketed and entered into inventory.
  • Build product displays and support warehouse and production operations as needed.
  • Cross-train to support other warehouse and facility functions.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Food Safety & Quality requirements, and company safety policies.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED.
