Job summary

Durex Industries, part of Spirax Group, is seeking a Material Handler for SWILL operations in Illinois. You will unload, inspect, and organize materials, verify against purchase orders, and prepare items for production.

Typical responsibilities include cycle counting, labeling, stocking, and occasional forklift operation. Candidates should have 1–3 years of material handling experience, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

The Role:

As the Material Handler, youwill unload, check and compare material to purchase order. Verify count andpart numbers. Receive and store materials plus prepare materials for use in allof the production areas. Maintain records reflecting receipts and disbursements.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Receive purchase orders/materials assuring accuracy of receipts. Assure completion of materials on a daily basis. Label material properly with correct part numbers and distribute material to departments/inventory locations as required.
  • Inspect, count, weigh or measure material or items from incoming shipments for correct part number and count verifying information against purchase order/packing list.
  • Receive in computer system to correct location.
  • Perform cycle counting and make adjustment to records on inventory as directed.
  • Operate fork lift as required.
  • Fill pick tickets and kits as requested.
  • May be assigned additional tasks as needed.
Our Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 1 – 3 years material handling experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (required)

  • Work fairly independently or under minimal supervision of the Supervisor

Pay Range:

$17.00 - $17.51
