Description

Position Summary: Under the general direction of Floor Leader(s), the Material Handler (Summer Help) is responsible for daily activities including, but not limited to: inventory accuracy, pulling pick lists, receiving materials, storing parts, packaging, forming parts for production, and completing orders for manufacturing needs.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Thursday, 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (A - Shift)

Duration: June 2nd, 2025 to August 7th, 2025

What You'll Do:

1. Move material and distribute products within the manufacturing facility.
2. Receive and store parts, packaging, and forming materials for production.
3. Partner with department team members to ensure accurate FIFO (First-in First-out)/shelf-life compliance, cycle counts, and inventory investigations. Maintain effective communication with all team leaders and members.
4. Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
5. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by Team Leader(s).

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

• Knowledge of production/quality standards and assembly procedures/processes.
• Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
• Ability to understand and read blueprints (Preferred).
• Ability to differentiate colors, make decisions, work independently, and use basic hand tools.
• Certified to operate a forklift, stand-up, order picker, and scanner gun.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook), MRP Systems, and QAD (Preferred).
