Job summary

Cayuga Health is seeking a Material Handler to support its hospital operations at Cayuga Medical Center. You will account for stock and deliver supplies according to unit minimum and maximum levels, ensuring accurate inventory records and timely distribution of items to units and floors.

Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, labeling, storing, and issuing medical supplies, plus preparing shipments when needed. Onsite work may require standing long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in Materials Handling.
• Experience in food or consumables logistics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory records of items received and issued.
• Delivers supplies according to minimum and maximum levels for units' carts and floor supplies.
