Job summary

VORTEQ Coil Finishers, LLC is seeking a reliable Material Handler for the Slitter Department to join our fast-growing team in a manufacturing setting. You will ensure safe operation of equipment, maintain accurate inventory, and process paperwork to support production and shipments.

The ideal candidate can stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work Monday through Saturday 5:00am to 2:00pm with flexibility for overtime. Forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience 1-3 years.
• Standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience required; sit-down preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass company training.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment safely after training.
• Stock, transport, and identify materials to minimize damage.
• Verify inventory tags and data entry.
• Load/unload trucks and complete paperwork.
• Maintain inventory location records.
• Follow safety rules and guidelines.
