Job summary

Kinematics in Phoenix, AZ seeks a safety-minded Material Handler / Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support manufacturing operations. You will stage raw materials, move finished goods, and load/unload freight in a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years forklift experience, OSHA-compliant certification, and familiarity with RF scanners and basic inventory controls; the role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and plant safety, with full-time hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• OSHA-compliant sit-down forklift certification.
• 1–2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in manufacturing or fast-paced warehouse environments.
• Ability to safely operate a 26-foot flatbed truck for local transportation between facilities.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, pallet wrapping and basic inventory control systems.
• Strong attendance, teamwork and safety-conscious mindset.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening due to safety-sensitive role.

Responsibilities

• Line Replenishment: Deliver raw materials, packaging supplies, and parts directly to production cells to avoid downtime.
• Finished Goods Staging: Safely move palletized products from production lines to staging/storage bays.
• Loading & Unloading: Operate sit-down forklifts to load outbound shipments and unload inbound trailers.
• Daily Inspections: Complete pre-shift OSHA checklists and log maintenance issues promptly.
• Inventory Tracking: Scan barcodes and log material movement using handheld RF scanners.
• Facility Housekeeping: Maintain clean driving aisles and staging lanes per safety guidelines.
