Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a dependable Material Handler / Forklift Operator in Phoenix, AZ to support a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products. This full-time role offers steady hours and potential for right-to-hire consideration.

You will handle receipt, inspection, packing and shipment of materials, operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, and ensure accurate documentation while meeting safety standards and quality checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience required; forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to operate sit down and/or stand up forklifts.
• Pass drug test and background check.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipment and receipt duties for materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.
