We are looking for a Material Handler to join our shipping/warehouse manufacturing team. This position is responsible for tasks involving shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment in our Norcross warehouse facility.

Material Handler - Shipping (Warehouse/Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

• Comply with all departmental procedures
• Verify and process (data entry) all deliveries according to cGMP and departmental procedures
• Receive, handle, store, rotate, and deliver raw materials, components, finished goods according to FIFO, cGMP, and departmental procedures
• Operate and maintain department equipment
• Ensure inspections are performed as required
• Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues where applicable
• Participate in training new employees
• Perform warehouse tasks such as storing, rotating supplies, re-stacking pallets, and organizing storage areas
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories of supplies, raw materials, finished goods, and consumables
• Handle daily mail duties throughout the Werfen campus
• Pull, scan, and pack orders according to FIFO, cGMP, and departmental procedures
• Report unsafe equipment or working conditions
• Discard expired products when directed
• Use hands constantly to grab and reach for products when pulling orders or stocking materials
• Handle international orders weighing up to approximately 70 pounds per box
• Push and pull serum carts weighing approximately 800 pounds in and out of coolers
• Use close and distant vision for forklift activities
• Apply depth perception when placing products on warehouse racking

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic PC, keyboarding, email, and internet skills
• Team player able to cooperate with coworkers

• Ability to speak, read, and write English
