Job summary

AO Precision Manufacturing LLC on-site facility seeks a Material Handler to move, store and track inventory, both hazardous and non-hazardous, using a forklift. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, shipping/receiving, and ensuring orders align with purchase orders.

You will work with Production and Material Controls to ensure material availability, maintain accurate inventories, and support on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Forklift certification required.
• 1-2 years of experience in material handling in a manufacturing environment.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of material handling.
• Self-motivated and capable of multitasking in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Track & expedite the flow of products on the production floor under Material Controls and Production.
• Expedite, track, and document product flow with outside vendors to meet delivery schedules.
• Provide information to improve shipping performance for on-time delivery.
• Ensure raw materials are available at workstations as required.
• Count, package, weigh, and prepare products for shipment with required shipping documents.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage/shortages and coordinate with shippers to resolve.
• Route items, packing slips, certifications, and SDSs to appropriate departments.
• Tag and label incoming materials according to company policies.
• Count inventory as required and pull inventory tags for processing.
• Maintain orderly storage and integrity of warehouse and finished goods.
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse and operate a forklift as needed.
