Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Imperial, PA is seeking a Material Handler I to support production operations through material handling, inventory control, shipping and receiving, and movement of materials throughout the facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification is desirable, ERP SAP knowledge is a plus, and the ability to read bills of lading and calculate dimensions. Shift is 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a hands-on environment that emphasizes accuracy,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED are required.
• Forklift certification is desirable.
• ERP SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to calculate dimensions, weights and surface areas of packaged equipment.

Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain records for incoming/outgoing shipments and enter data into ERP.
• Compare counts against bills of lading/invoices and weigh items for accuracy.
• Determine shipment methods and arrange carriers when needed.
• Attach shipping labels, prepare containers, and secure shipments.
• Unpack, inspect, reject damaged goods, and support inventory counts.
