Job summary

Amerhart, an SBP brand is seeking a 1st shift Material Handler in our Jackson, MI facility to manage shipping, receiving, and stocking of warehouse material. You will support the Operations team, follow safety policies, and help others when workload requires.

Typical shift runs from 7:30am CST until work is finished, Monday through Friday. This role requires a neat appearance and a willingness to work as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred.
• Neat and clean appearance.
• Proven ability to work as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and rail cars and replenish warehouse locations.
• Pick orders with a forklift until complete; report shortages or damages.
• Use handheld scanner for receiving, picking, loading, and cycle counting per WMS.
• Coordinate with WMS Coordinator on questions and updates.
• Band, wrap, and prepare material for shipping; arrange loads with safe weight distribution.
• Follow OSHA and safety procedures; perform routine maintenance and housekeeping.
