Job summary

A leading supplier in fluid power services in Rome, GA is seeking a Warehouse Saw Operator / Material Handler. Responsibilities include operating band saws, loading and unloading trucks, and moving heavy equipment. Ideal candidates will have experience with tape measures and micrometers. The position offers benefits such as medical and dental insurance, 401k with company match, and sick/vacation pay. This is a 2nd shift role from 3pm to 1:30am, Monday through Thursday.

Commercial Fluid Power, a subsidiary of the National Tube Supply Company, specializing in supplying machining services to the fluid power industry, is in search of a Warehouse Saw Operator / Material Handler reporting to our Rome, GA location. These services include boring, honing, welding, and machining.

Shift

• 2nd shift (3pm-1:30am)
• Monday through Thursday

Job duties

• Operate band saws
• Load / unload trucks
• Record production data
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move tubing
• Lift and move heavy pieces of equipment or tubing up to 50 pounds
• Retrieve material based on reading job travelers

Operator Requirements

• Experience with tape measures and micrometers
• Industrial experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to read and communicate in English
